What non-traditional football school do you think has the potential to eventually become a powerhouse in college football?

Personally, I think that North Carolina has the potential Mack Brown proved that you could win there as he had them in the top 5 back in the 90s. Butch Davis should have them competing for ACC titlesin the near future. Also I like Oklahoma State due to Boone Pickens and the money he has/is sinking into that program..

USF is sittin there on the verge.

I think Rutgers can stay ahead in the Big East as long as the small pipeline to FLA widens up.

I also feel that Cincy and Pitt are gonna start making noise in the next few years. BC and Miami did the BIg East a huge favor moving to the ACC.

I have ASU as a darkhorse to win the Pac 10 title. Erickson may be as sleazy as they come, but the guy can recruit and coach. I believe he'll have them as a perenial top 10 team. Not sure he can win a national title there or not. Maybe. They came 19 seconds from winning one in 1996...

There not near darkhorse status. If SC stumbles,ASU is supposed to finish on top.
