No. 14 Georgia Tech at No. 20 Miami (FL)

GT almost choked last week against Clemson and Miami is coming off a bye week, after playing in one of the most exciting football games in the last decade one week prior. A pivotal ACC match up early the season, and may show if Miami is legit or not.

No. 10 Boise State at Fresno State

This may be the only game BCU has to worry about for the rest of the season in terms of losing. FSU is coming off a disappointing loss to Wisconsin, whom they have lost to two years in a row now by a very slim margin. Colburn made some crucial mistakes late, but looked sharp at other times.

No. 8 California at Minnesota

This game is only on here becuase of what happened last year in Maryland. cal looked sloppy and unprepared, and didn't start playing until the second half. Minnesota is a similar foe to that of Maryland and becuase it is on the road, the same effects may pop up. However, Cal is better than last year and have Best in the line of the Heisman voters. Could be a cakewalk for the Bears.

No. 11 Ohio State at Toledo

Believe it or not, the Toledo is np pushover. They lost in a shootout with Purdue, and then won a laugher (although the score doesn't tell the whole story) against Colorado at home. tOSU's defense is much better than the other two opponents, but it seems that the offense is in a bit of a identity crisis. This game could be a lot closer than some thing, and Opelt is throwing the ball all over the field. Will all his WR's be healthy for this game? He needs them.

Louisville at Kentucky

Only here because it is a rivalry game, and a fierce one. Both teams have only played one game and against inferior opponents, so its not clear as to who is going to come out on top. However, Louisville played a FCS team and won by 20, while UK played a FBS team and pitched a shutout.

Boston College at Clemson

Clemson let the game against GT slip away and BC has blown out two terrible teams. A big match up in the ACC that will showcase exactly what BC has on offense and if Clemson can bounce back from a heartbreaker. Shinskie and Tuggle have shared time at QB and have performed well thus far.

Tennessee at No. 1 Florida

May be a blowout, but a rivalry none the less. Tennessee lost to UCLA for the second year in a row and Florida has played nothing but FCS schools to begin the season. Lane Kiffin may have bitten off more than he can chew with his comments about Florida, and Tebow will most likely make him pay.

No. 3 USC at Washington

Pete gets to see his old OC on the other side of the field on Saturday, as the Huskies try to improve even more. They won their first game in 15 tries last week against Idaho, who also out gained them, as the defense looked terrible once again. Matt Barkley is out for this game, but the Trojans bring in a fericious defense and a slew of RB's that could start on any team in the nation. Some are saying this game will be closer than most think.

No. 18 Utah at Oregon

Oregon;s offense FINALLY showed up in the middle of the third quarter last week at home against Purdue to win by 2 in a shootout. The problem is, their defense was no where to be found. Utah doesn't have the weapons they had last year, but dual-threat Terrance Cain will look to give Oregon fits. Oregon may have found their running game LaMicahel James, which allows Masoli to get free, and will need it to keep Utah on their toes.

Michigan State at Notre Dame

If ND loses this game, Charlie may be looking for a new job very soon. The defense was a let down against Michigan, but the offense was scoring. MSU is fresh off a loss to CMU in a very bizarre fashion, and this time, they have no home field advantage. ND still has the best WR duo in the country, Clasuen is looking sharp, and Allen is running a muck. But can they stop MSU from scoring?

No. 17 Cincinnati at Oregon State

OSU has been known for tis slow starts and late finishes, but they boast a 2-0 record for the first time in a long time. In come the Bear cats, with underrated Tony Pike at QB, a dark horse in the Heisman race. The Bearcats haven't played anyone of significance yet, but they have put points on the board and the defense has been stout. OSU went into Cincy and got pounded a year ago, and are out for revenge. But it took a last second FG to beat UNLV last week. Look for Cincy to cue in on Jaquizz Rodgers.

Florida State at No. 7 Brigham Young

FSU has looked nothing like they were toted in the offseason, with their defense failing against Miami, and their offense failing against FCS JSU. FSU ultimately won, but they didnt have the lead until late in the 4th quarter. On the other hand, BYU took care of Oklahoma, and then destroyed Tulane. Max Hall is in the running for the Heisman and will look to shred the FSU secondary, something Jacory Harris did 2 weeks ago.

GAME OF THE WEEK

No. 19 Nebraska at No. 13 Virginia Tech

Is Nebraska FINALLY "back"? Zac Lee and company sure think so, as he has been killing the weaker foes the last 2 weeks. VT comes off a very strong perfoemnce over Marshall, where Tyrod Taylor finally found some life. But it was the legs of David Wilson and Ryan Williams, both freshman, that carried them to a blowout. Both defenses are good, and this could come down to who can grind out the game longer without giving in. Or, it could be a barn burner, where defense just seems to disappear on both sides.

I Pukokeki Ioulo Momu, what's your predicted score/outcome for the Beavers and Bearcats game?
The Beavers defense looks like they didn't quite stack back up from last year, and I am not completely sold on Canfield. Although when you have a RB like Quizz who can run through and by you, its hard to argue against OSU. However, Cincy has weapons and they know how to get open. The biggest task for OSU is to STOP the WR's from getting lose in space and put pressure on Pike, who is mobile. Cincy is traveling for this one, so OSU gets an automatic leg up. I say Cincy wins by 24-20.

I haven't been following college much this year, but I kind of figured the same as you. After getting stomped by Cincy lasy year, I hope the Beavs get some revenge somehow. At least this time it's at Reser in Corvallis... I going to try and find time to watch this one this week.
