Collab question

if there were 2 artists that collab'd, would they split tha profits 50/50?


also, lets say brotha lynch charged $30k for a collab w/ someone. would he get money too from sales or what?


i just been wonderin bout this...

Back to the topic...

On the real though. I think if you pay somebody 30k for a collab (or any large amount of money for any type of work)...that should be considered cashed out and paid in full. Unless they drop the price and work something out with you (publishings etc etc...).

On the other hand, it depends on what artist your dealing with...let's face it. There are way to many artist claiming to be on the verge of blowing up and charging outrages prices when in reality...all they have a is a strong buzz going.

I don't think any artist is worth too much now a days unless he/she is on the level of a Dr. Dre or somebody along that calibur.

And at the rate this game is going...that's gonna be awhile (if ever).
