R.I.P.

Above The Law and WestWorld Records would like to send out our condolences to the entire Hutchison family on the passing of famed Motown songwriter/composer (and 1-Ate Seven’s father) Richard Hutchison on Monday August 7th, 2006 in Dallas Texas. For those who don’t know Richard Hutchinson along with his brother Willie Hutchison (who passed away late last year) were instrumental in writing hit records for several top Motown artists in the 1960s. Both Richard and Willie were the two biggest influences in 1-Ate Seven’s musical career. Although none of these legendary artists are amongst us physically, their music will always live through 1-Ate Seven and the music of Above The Law. We here at ABVDLAW.COM would like to celebrate the life of Richard Hutchison and we thank him for giving us such classic soul music that will live forever.
