Its a great move for Strange. Cognito doesn't have anything new out there right now because of this deal with Strange. He is working on the album as we speak. Album slated for Feb 2010 I believe. He should have some new shit hitting the street soon to start the promotion for the album "AUTOMATIC".
when i talked to Tech he was very excited that he signed both cognito and brotha lynch. cognito is no joke and his new stuff is amazing, stay tuned

I liked that album that he did with No Limit Records but Im sure he can do a lot better than that, I think hes a very good rapper, Tech been signing good rappers like Lynch, Ill Bill and know Cognito. Tech knows who talented.

Cognito has been one of the most overlooked northern california rappers of the past few years, now when Cog is working around solid people, and other great artists like Tech and Brotha Lynch hopefully itll be the proper motivation to do his best. The BL and Cog albums on Strange will be 2 of my most looked forward to albums...

Cognito is one of the most talented aritsts I've ever worked with. Dude just gets in the booth and knocks out solid ass tracks left and right like no one I've seen before.Plus his live show is hella crackin wether its in front of 10 people or 10,000 people. I've been working with Cognito for a few years now and I can tell you that him signing with Strange is really bringing out his full potential. I have produced a large portion of his upcoming album so far and I can honestly say its some of my and his best work. His Strange release is gunna be a classic for sure. I think he's gunna bring a lot to the label.

Everything you have done on the album Freddy is classic so far. You have done nothing but shined in my opinion. You and Cog together is a perfect artist/ producer combo. I can't wait to hear the new stuff done and ready to go.
