Activision and Treyarch have had no problems reenlisting gamers to take part in online skirmishing for Call of Duty: World at War, which sold 11 million units globally during its first seven months. World at War's Map Pack 1 and Map Pack 2 multiplayer add-ons both went platinum during their debut weekends on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network, with the first extension having subsequently achieved sales of 2 million units.



Today, Activision announced the third Map Pack for its top-selling World War II shooter will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in August. And as with the first two multiplayer add-ons, Map Pack 3 will offer three new competitive arenas as well as one zombie-themed match. Activision did not reveal pricing information, though the previous two packs are available for $10 (MSP 800).

In the upcoming map Revolution, soldiers fight in Russia's cold city streets and factories amid treacherous sniper fire. The map Battery features a fortified island encircled by anti-ship mines and cannons. The urban-themed Breach puts players in the dismal byways of Berlin, near the historic Brandenburg Gate. Der Riese (Zombie Factory) will feature a Nazi research facility, a machine that can upgrade weapons, and 10 new achievements or trophies

Damn man, this game gonna take me all the way to Modern Warfare 2.. i keep supportin it though, the game got me hella hooked. I say keep bringin it cuz im not playin much else.

i believe MW2 will have more then one add on as they see WAW is makin hella money off each map pack but i aint gonna buy WAW map pack 3 i bought 1 & 2 but dont really with WAW and pretty much wasted money on MP2

yeah i dont like any of the new maps and i have both map packs

i only like the new zombie games

and since this is the last zombie game i hope we finally get to meet the giant zombie that the guy was talking about in shi no numa

BATTERY



An armored island surrounded by anti-ship mines and shore to ship cannons, "Battery" places soldiers on a mid-sized map based on Fort Drum (El Fraile Island) in the Philippines. Expect plenty of areas to hide and heavy close quarters combat!

BREACH



Overwhelm the enemy in "Breach," set in Berlin's overcast and crowded city streets surrounding the historic Brandenburg Gate. Only the fittest will survive in this fast-paced, dense battlefield!

REVOLUTION



"Revolution" pits soldiers against each other in Russia's cold city streets and large factory environment. Keep your fingers warm, your gun loaded, and your head low through this sniper-friendly territory!

i didnt really want to put anymore money into WAW but i might just have to spend 15 more dollars on it. that brings the grand total of $110 for a video game, thats sad..

thats a lot. i've been doing sharing on the psn, where a homie buys it then i download it to my ps3

so far two seperate friends have bought the first 2 map packs at £8 each and we have all downloaded from each other

i'll buy this next 1 at £8 so the amount we have paid is equivalent to 8/3 which is just under £3 each for each map pack

so i will have spent about £48 ($70) on the game altogether lol

there must be a way to do it on 360

its possible on ps3 because the ps3 allows you to download one piece of download content on to 5 seperate ps3s (for people who own more than one) but obviously this is the system we abuse.

if the 360 has a similar feature then you can do it on the 360 too

Oh ok, xbox only allows one dl for each DL content to only one xbox. Also the content is licensed to the gamertag that downloaded it and the console it was DL'd to. When my 360 broke i put my old hard drive on the new 360 and my gamertag was the only one who could use the DL content. The other gamertags couldnt use the DL content until i transferred the license to my new 360.

for people with a ps3....what u need to do is get your friends name and password.......every time a map pack comes out have one person buy it.....then log in as them on psn and go to downloaded items and redownload it......this new pack will be the first one i actually buy outta all the cods, yet i have all of them.....that shit saves u money

i got a thing on my screen last night that said MAP PACK 3 disabled..blah blah blah...and i looked and looked to find it(i still got alot of microsoft points cuz all i play is WaW) but i cant find it anywhere? any1 kno where to get it? i got a 360

Obtain the Ray Gun, DG-2, and the Monkey Bomb at the same time in a game.
