I got the red football jersey a few months back. Do you guys just throw that shit in the washing machine like everything else? I've been worried to do that because I don't want to fuck up the stitching or lettering.

The thing hangs in my closet like a suit because I'm afraid to ruin it. I want to clean it and am seriously considering bringing it to a dry cleaner.

Any suggestions? How do you keep your shit clean?

I have the same one. I don't think the way I clean it is necessary, but it keeps it nice. I turn it inside out, and wash it with my delicates, DO NOT DRY IT IN THE DRYER. I hang the jersey up to dry. It keeps the adhesive and stitching for the patches from getting fucked up. I know the patches are sewn on, but when they are made the patches have adhesive to keep them in place while being sewn.

If you want to be extra safe...

Fill the sink from your kitchen up with water.
Pour in the soap.
Wash the jersey.
Drain the water and fill it up again.
Add downey or whatever detergent.
Let the Jersey soak for a bit.
Then hang it up to dry.

^^ That's the route I was going to go with... I don't particularly like sticking hundred dollar items in washing machines, but I guess there's no reason I couldn't hand wash that shit myself, other than worrying about the red bleeding onto the numbers/letters.

When I used to listen to Psychopathic, I had well over 150 jerseys. I washed them in the washing machine with no problem. I may be a dick, but I wouldn't tell you to do something to ruin your jersey. The red will not bleed onto the numbers and letters either.

Have it dry cleaned is the best advice. I've seen people with their clothes they have dry cleaned over the years look brand new. You can probably even find a coupon for dry cleaning if cost is an issue.
