I miss 4080s, they need to start that mag back up they were kinda hard to find though. I had the one with Master P on the cover and the one with Black C I used to cut out all the pics and articles and tape em all over my room when I was a youngster

No offense to any other mags, past or present, but 4080 is the best magazine the Bay Area ever had. It was a cornerstone to Bay Area hip hop and at the height of its run it was the third largest hip hop mag in circulation behind The Source and Rap Pages.

They were really doin' it big for a while. I wish it could come back too, but it won't happen.

good shit Doxx, i think that e-40 issue is where i started collecting 4080....i'll have to get my mags out of storage and see though....anyways anybody know the reason why they stopped?...after 4080 i started gettin into murderdog for a while but now i just get it when i can not all the time like i used to, shit i miss me some 4080!....especially the 20 sack chart, that's where i would look to get all the new shit from the bay....a good thing can't last forever i guess...:mad:

I did a lot of writing and interviewing for 4080 so I had a really good relationship with everyone at the mag and even I never really found out for sure why they disappeared. I heard rumors, but I don't know for sure so it's not really my place to put anything out here. It's a shame it's not around anymore though.
