half of you cats are probaly too young to remember but does any body have a tape of the Casual/Saafir battle.i know some of you cats HAVE TO remember this shit.battlin' and boxin'....that was some golden era classic shit.any way if any body recorded that shit maybe we can work somethin out for a dub....

they always said that saafirs were writtens.i also heard some one was bustin caps outside after the battle....i dont know how true that is....but shit was heated inside and i know each crew was deep azz fuck....

and Mark 7,your right,it was Hiero vs. Hobo but i assumed most cats know it as Casual & Saafir....they shoulda put that shit on 4080's bays greatest hits....

i got the saafir wakeup show session where he dissed them a couple weeks before the battle on tape - shits comedy - his raps sucks but he's clowning when theyre interviewing him

KMEL used to be the shit: wake up show where fools had to freestyle - up on the mics swearing and shit. Grip of people weekly on the mics kicking shit. Rappin Ron putting it down as the freestyle king.

Man i remember when KMEL had that stupid camel for a logo and they used to play rock and KFRC was the station

I got that shit on a cassette somewhere, I sat there and listened to the whole shit, didn't even do nothing else just sat there and listened to the radio for about an hour and a half. Classic. We'll never hear a battle like that again.

Saafir had some better lines but I thought Hiero took it overall. Saafir did have notes with him and shit but he said some funny shit. "You's a uuggllyy muthafucka!" Tajai came with some shit too. Didn't he say somethin about Saafir fuckin bitches with lint in their asshole? hahaha

A week later Sway said they counted the votes and it was a tie, probably didn't want to say one side one cuz there would probably be funk. They said they were betting $1,000 on it I think.

Who got the MP3? Or can burn a CD?
