IT'S ABOUT A YEAR AND HALF OLD BUT STILL GOOD SHIT..

Interview with Killa Tay on 03/12/03
Interview by Yung-G

This time WCA got an exclusive interview with Mr.Mafioso himself, Killa Tay. He talks about new projects, the old Awol, and even more. Check is out below....

What was it like doing Bully's Wit Fully's 2 with Guce ?

It was coo. We really did it like right after we did the first one. We just had to go back and re-edit and shit. You can expect that album on May 6th.

After being in the game for so long, what are your feelings about the game today ?

I feel like you gotta keep it all family, and just surround your self with your peers. Thats what we trynna do right now. We just wanna keep it straight family, and go back to the roots.

What can fans expect from "The Return Of Mr.Mafioso" ?

They can expect what they have been waiting for. I'm just goin back to all the old producers, and artists. Just goin back to the roots like I said, and showcasin a little bit of the new talent.

Why won't there be a Dosia reunion album happening in the future ?

It might happen. But I don't know about the bussiness as far as if KJ still wanna get down. He still got it, but I don't know if he wanna do it like that. And I don't know what Lunasicc is up to, too. But you never know.

What encouraged you to start rapping and stick with it ?

I started rappin when I was like 7. I mainly got in to rappin from just poetry, and writing poems. I just started rapping for fun with my homies. And when I moved back to Cali is when I really got into the bussiness.

Whats up with the new West Coast Trippin album ?

We are just gonna be getting the old crew all back together, and just get the old Awol fan base back. Like everything was back in the day.

How did you hook up wit Fat Tone & put his album out ?

I go to Kansas City alot and I ended up helping him to put him in the game, and just get him out the streets. Cause Kansas City got some talent there.

"Thug Religion", was your gospel album. What made you wanna do a gospel album ?

It wasn't really gospel, I just rapped wit God. I just wanted to put somethin different out there. Thug Religion, thats what we got to live by. When you are in the streets and have no God in your life, then you live by your Thug Religion.

What other projects do you have coming ?

I got a album called "C-4", which is prolly my hardest album. I recorded is awhile ago, but it's finally gonna be released. And it's gonna have collaborations wit Lil Ke, Eklipze (R.I.P.), and Cozmo.

Are there any producers out there that you're feeling, who you haven't worked with ?

Yea, there are some up and coming cats. Buts some people like One Drop Scott, still aint really shined, so. But I also have my producing group outta Fresno and they are D, Young Pez, and Dre.

What comments do you have to the West Coast After Shock visitors ?

Keep supportin the music. And basically stop burning them CD's. That's why the West aint shinin. Go out and support the artists and buy the albums, thats basically how I am feeling.
