Yeah your not alone, I'll admit I'm stuck in the 90's as well. The 90's were just better. Everything was popping in the 90's, even Rock music and Rave music. Fuck all this fame and glamour $hit, it ain't real. These rappers these days are forgetting their roots. Club beats n shit have their place of course, but not song after song, album after album. There needs to be more variety, just as back then there was pure gangsta shit like Spice1, South Central Cartel, faster party big bass dance shit like Bow Wow Wow Yippi Yo Yippy Yay, Pimp of the Year, love/Pimp shit like Cocktales, Ain't No Fun, Keep Your Head Up, chill out/smoke shit like Sherm Sticc, I Got 5 On It, Regulate, cruising shit like Let Me Ride, Just Dippin,etc... Fuck there was SO MUCH and SO MUCH variety that we don't have these days. And that's ONLY WestCoast rap, the EastCoast was dope as well in their own style. Now everything is wack to be honest, West, South, East, it all the same wack shit right now.
