BTW that Penthouse Players Clique ain't G-Funk, it's 1992 and doesn't have that g-funk sound, same for 2nd II None

just a reminder for everybody, G-Funk is a southern cali thang, get it right. The yay have a similar style that's just AS DOPE called Mobb music. It all comes down to where the producer is from. With all due respect, no Bay area albums, or Texas for that matter, should be in this thread, know what i'm saying? ... peace.

agree, but it's not only where you from, mobb music is similar but not the same, it's less elastic and less melodic; while there are southern and midwest albums that are just as G-Funk as LA albums

for example that BOUND BY BROTHERS which is from Oklahoma is more mobb than G-Funk while Top Prize (from Milwakee) is pure G-Funk IMO
