The civil rights conspiracy has come full circle with Rosa Parks’ honor at Capital

" . . . to make Blacks think they were accomplishing something when Black Americans were not accomplishing anything in thier own self determination. . .

. . . the whole movement was a hoax and an invention by this country as an appeasement to Blacks at a time when Black frustrations about their mistreatment through racism in America was at an explosive point. . .

. . . The big lie is that the course of race relations in this country have not changed, but have gotten worse since America first tricked Rosa Parks into thinking she was a civil rights icon. Consider this; the whole civil rights movement was a big lie to make Blacks think that they had a movement for civil rights when they didn't have nothing. Yeah, it was all a big lie!

Why? No one can deny the fact that the civil rights movement was a failure to Blacks in this country, because no one can point to one accomplishment of the movement that has benefited the Black community as a whole. As I remember, the only objective of the civil rights movement was the integration of American society, and we know now that that never happened because whites and Backs hate each other!

Yeah, a few Niggers got elected to political office, but they are nothing but a disgraced lackies to the already corrupt politics of America, and they never get anything done for the race. . ."

I can dig that. Ive been doin some research on the Free Speech Movement on the UC Berekely campus durinbg 1964-1965. It was considered one of the "great" movements of the civil rights period. While the students at UC Berekeley made some gains regarding free speech, equality and right to privacy on campus most of the things they fought for they never won.

I dont know whether the whole civil rights movement was fabricated, but one thing that most of us would agree on is its not finished. A lot of people in our generation and previous generations point to the activism and protests during that period but they forget that the goals desired by the participants were not achieved.

The civil rights movement was very real for the individuals involved and it continues to be, however our generation isn't getting things done.

The problem with the civil rights movement and Modern-day American History books is that they suggest passiveness was the key. Martin Luther King was a black male in search if middle-class white male privilege. He was passive, wanted assimilation. This is why Martin Luther King Jr. is celebrated and overglorified in the eyes of white people (and unfortunately in the eyes of other people of color as well) as being such a 'leader', while activists who actually covered ground-work and were about action against oppressors such as Malcolm X are not as celebrated.

In the case of Rosa Parks, I feel personally that it was an event that various civil rights movements latched onto because it's as if White America 'touched' black women and the 'black man needed to put it to the man'. Basically, it was systematically used to rile up black males, as most of the civil rights movements had a flocking female congregation who joined alongside the Women's Liberation Movement, but had a tough time relating due to white women who failed to acknowledge their white privilage and the inability to be spoken for as 'women' was referred to as simply 'white middle-class women'. Later on, black women from the civil rights movement and disgruntled black women (and some white & jewish women too) formed the Black Feminist Movement.

So, back to the civil rights movement. I don't know if it was a movement, but moreso an era in which Progressives (like myself) lashed out against the conservative thought of the previous generation. This in turn, got some goals accomplished. However, we're still fighting every single day and the 'movement' continues.
