Cigarette carton prices by state or county...

Anyone know these? Or a place to find out? How much are cartons where you stay at?

Specifically: Winston Lights, Newports, Marlboro lights and reds?

On a side note, who where smokes? How often? What brand, etc?

Me - about 8 a day. Winston Lights. Been tryin to quit for god knows how long.

Unfortunately I'm a smoker. I smoke Newport’s which here in WA ranges anywhere from $6.00 to $6.75 a pack. (Safeway, Fred Myers, etc. are always the most expensive.)

I rolled my own menthol cigarettes for about 3 months and that saved me a shit load of money, and they actually didnt taste that bad. I typically smoke ¾ a pack a day (8 a day is not bad at all WD), usually more on the weekends if I’m drinking.

I did the math averaging a pack a day at $6.20:

$43.40/week
$186/month
$2,263/year

IF I could just stick with rolling my own smokes it would look like this:

Roughly .05 per cig or $1/per pack.

$7/week
$30/month
$365/year.

The problem with rolling your own is its too damn time consuming.

Do you use filters when you roll your own 206?

I found that using filters (I usually clipped them in half) made the overall experience alot better (No eating tobacco, easier to roll round shape, etc.)

You can get like 250 filters for like 1.50, 1.99. Combine this with a 15 dollar tin (As opposed to the 5 dollar pack) of tobacco and it makes it worthwhile.

Then again, I'm not doing it, so hey, what the fuck ever.

A couple moths ago I switched from Marlboro lights, I was diehard MLs, to american spirits, which I hated. Now when I smoke a ML, it makes me sick. 4.75 a pack, I smoke about 10 a day. If I'm drinking on a weekend, I can run through a pack in a day. I used to think American spirits were worthless, but now I'm hooked.

Yeah, I used filters. I bought a box of 250 papers with the filters already attached (cigarette tubes)…basically 250 empty cigarettes (I think it cost $1.99). Big bag of menthol tobacco = $6.99. I then purchased this cheap little plastic device which you fill with tobacco, insert the empty cigarette, pull and out comes a perfect cigarette. Not that bad but it’s a bit tricky at first getting the right amount of tobacco.

Wow, I just did a google search and found some superior machines. The one I have is a piece of shit. http://www.stuffyourown.com/noname.html haha, going to have to look into these..

Should they outlaw McDonalds? Should they outlaw living in close to factories and containing high levels of harmful chemicals in the air? In that case, they'd have to outlaw living in 10 percent of the East Bay. Should they outlaw motorcycle riding, bike riding, extreme sports, professional sports, amateur sports, etc? Should overeating and unhealthy diets be outlawed?

If you want weed legal EDJ, let's say weed is legalized. Should smoking weed and driving, then, which both increases your chances of getting in an accident and increases the likely severity of the accident, be outlawed? Should driving while very tired (which puts you at the same risks of driving drunk) be outlawed?

Like smoking, these are all things that put you at higher risk, and things that you have the ability to change.

Someone can die much faster by eating unhealthy, not seeing a doctor regularly, or riding a motorcycle than they can be smoking. Should we have diet police? Should we have armed storm troopers taking people to hospitals once a year?

EDIT: On a side note E, do you smoke blunts? Smoking blunts (tobacco leaf) and inhaling is more hazardous than smoking cigarettes. Inhaling on a cigar is about 15 times more harmful to your body than smoking a cigarette.

I don't do either, but it's common sense that chronic is more harmful to you're health then cigs are. And I did the same thing too when I was locked up. Since I don't smoke, I use to trade cigs with fools for food, and other thangs...
