George Tenet has resigned as director of the CIA, citing "personal reasons".

President George W Bush accepted the resignation and said he would miss the "strong and able" Mr Tenet as head of the US intelligence agency.

The CIA has been at the heart of criticism over faulty intelligence in the run-up to the Iraqi war and over whether 9/11 could have been prevented.

....Al Gore? Is that you?

Look Doofy...why don't you just not reply to my shit if all you're gonna do is make stupid ass remarks? We don't agree, that's fucking obvious, but it's not necessary to bring it up every single time I say something. Do you really feel the neet to refute every thing I say? Almost everything I say is my personal opinion, but you act like I'm tryin to prove something to everyone...That's you, not me.

That's true Rippa, anyone who thinks Bush cabinet members need to be fired must be Gore reincarnate. No one in their right minds other than Al Gore would make that decision.

I didn't say everyone needed to be kicked out. Maybe people should just read closer and not assume that what they think I mean is always what I really do mean.

Even bush and Cheney wouldn't allow all this bullshiet unless Rummy had some MAJOR dirt on both they asses... so I dont see him leavin anytime soon.

J I You're running on the assumption that Bush thinks America holds him accountable for what he does. They don't. All Bush has to do is have an R next to his name, and he has the presidency.

I've challenged the Republicans to name *something* Bush does or has done well. They can't come up with anything. There is nothing really about Bush that makes him extremely qualified for the presidency. American politics is more akin to a football game. You have your Home team, and the Away team, and that's who you vote for.

The fact that people who vote either way are called "swing voters" is proof that America is full of Lemmings. Every american should be a "swing" voter. Unfortunately for us, people have relegated election choices down to party labels. Bush could be the absolute worst candidate for president, which he basically is, and he will still get the Republican vote.

He asked for one, I gave him one.

White Devil- I wasn't old enough to vote for Clinton. And actually, as conservative as I am, I probably would have voted for Clinton as opposed to Dole anyways. I can't hate a person who helped balance the budget, went into Iraq, and still supported tax cuts. I'm conservative, but I'm registered Independent. I don't need to fight GOP wars for them.

These were things he accomplished post-election. It's likely if you were voting age and listened to the same news/radio/media at the time of the Clinton election, you would have likely voted Dole.

Why? Because how many conservative stations/thinktanks will endorse a Democratic candidate? How often do americans vote "against their party"?

Well, seeing as how I dont watch only conservative stations/thinktanks, that should be irrelevant. And I stated before that I'm registered Independent, and because I would 99% of the time NEVER vote for the 3rd party candidate, I suppose I'd always be "voting against my party".

See but the thing is though Rippa, you registered Independant to escape Republican stigma. You listen to nothing but Repuke shows/peridicals/etc. as evidenced by your frequent spouting of misinformation. Why even mess around with an Independant label? You're not much more than a product of Fox News, Michael Savage, and Hannity in a blender.
