^^^LOL damn. Disney encourages consumerism? CAPITALISM encourages consumerism. Where are the Catholics who want to ban capitalism?
Actually, you should read the article again as he has a very valid point. He's simply talking about brand loyalty and how children (and parents) are brainwashed.

On another note, there are a shitload of comics, games and cartoons that have occult references or open occult themes. However, I think it's up to each parent to monitor what their child does.

i get that, but I would argue that anybody with a product or service to sell would encourage the same type of thing.

The connection might not seem obvious, but there is a very significant causal relationship between Christianity and capitalism

It is obvious, just like the very significant causal relationship between science and capitalism. Religion as a whole is a big money maker, and when you have atm's in churches as well as "name it and claim it" sermons popping off every sunday, it's clearly obvious. However, I think more people should do what Jesus did and that's go in the church and beat the shit out of the people in there selling tapes, dvd's, prayer clothes, holy water, miracle manna and all that other bullshit. But if you aren't gonna do that, you need to take as much money from the collection plate as possible and go for the nearest exit.

Real chop.

I was not talking about this connection, I am talking about religion's influence on people's worldview
