CHP to staff sobriety checkpoint in Pleasanton on Friday
PLEASANTON — The California Highway Patrol will conduct a sobriety checkpoint Friday in Pleasanton.
The checkpoint will run from about 10 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday morning. Drivers approaching the checkpoint will see signs telling them what is ahead. Officers will explain the purpose of the checkpoint to drivers and check for signs of impaired driving.
The checkpoint location has not been released.
The checkpoint is funded through a grant from the Office of Traffic Safety.
