1. Look at Cypress Hill. They were/are successful not because they are possible "scraps from LA" but because they made entertaining, catchy music that people can relate to...not just East Bay Nortenos or vato hispanics.
2. Isn't the message of this board in general that music that gets to the radio / masses and is commercially successful is garbage 99% of the time.
3. How much money is there in the music industry anyway? How many musicians, artists, and groups out there really make a serious living from their music? I'd say probably one or two artists or groups in every town makes enough money to live off their music. The rest go broke and have other jobs.

I am a hypocrite. We all are. And I never claimed to be pure or sinless. Which is why you'd be hardpressed for me to come down on ANYONE because of their piousness or morality. I do what I do because I choose to do it. I am one of the *few* people on this board who will claim to be erroneous and faultful. Most won't. I do. But I will always put my GOD above all else.
