Chipped up PS2's?

I'm thinking of buying a PS2 - but I sure as fuck am not purchasing games. Do those chipped up PS2's really play burned games? Cuz if so, it's a 20 minute trip to the video store with my duplicator and boom - a whole library.

Anyone here have one? they work? and if so, where'd you get it/

yes they play burned games and no u cant just go copy the game like that. there is a certain procedure. www.modchips.com

It's true, but I just got rid of mine.
Burning games isn't as hard as some folks claim it to be.
It's pretty straight forward.
I used RecordNow Max to burn both my DVD and CD games.

Make sure you get the right chip installed, some cheap ass chips require that you use a boot disk to play your DVD-R's CD-R's.
