The Oakland Chicano documentary Children of Violence will be coming out over the next year. i talked to the owner and maker Bill Jersey and he gave me permission to press and distribute this classic documentary out to the world. I just got my copy in tonight and will be in the process of bringing this film back to life. Be on the look out!

Pretty good move. Same thing, you going to have some kind of follow up or extra footage? Be cool too maybe interviewing the dude on why or what gave him an idea of doing the Docu.

thanx homies, yea i talked to Bill Jersey and when he comes down in June im gonna interview him for a follow up and im currently attempting to get ahold of Carlos (Bean). Im really trying to breathe life back into this project since its been almost 30 years since it release. I think alot of the youth nowadays need to see a project like this to realize where exectly they came from and the fact is that most videos only show what L.A. looked like in the 80's or 70's. to my knowledge this is one of the first films i seen cover cholos in the bay through the early 80's.

I messaged him on myspace after i first watched it telling him i enjoyed the documentary and he eventually wrote back saying "thank you". So he should get back to you eventually

I recall this video being showed to my class by the Daly City police department while i attended elementary school in Daly City. I also would like to know what has become of those showed in the documentary.

Yeah bruh you definitely need to do follow ups of every one that was on this film, where they at and what they learned from this or what they want this film to teach the youth, etc.. good shit tho put me down for 2 copies..
