I volunteer at my lil sis's school when they need me....these past two days I have had the luxury of being with them.
This one particular girl stood out because of all of the things she told me.....we were sitting on the bus going to the field trip destination when she asked me "hey...let me tell you about my mom"...I said "sure"..so she told me that "her mother was in a wheel chair" and "she was never going to be able to walk again"...so I told her my stories about my car accidents and my spine...then she said well " my step-dad is the reason ".... I was like "oh"..."my stepdad flung my mom over the railing and then he kicked her down the stairs"...."then he started to kick her again" by this time I am like holy cow! and one of the other dads was just shocked!!!!!!....then she told me how the dad took out his baton( cause his a cop) and started to again beat her with it......then she continued to tell me how her real father "drank to much beer and he would act mad all the time"....so then I told her it not nice to let people hit on you/hit and that you dont keep people who are like that around you.....then she said "yeah, I think my mom needs to stop having guys around....because there always mean".
even though I know just how smart kids are.....I just wanted to pass it on....because they are alot smarter than what some tend to think.
