Chicago rapper Chief Keef has been sentenced to two months at Illinois Youth Center in St. Charles, Illinois. Keef, born Keith Cozart, was convicted today (January 17th) for violating his probation, according to his manager Idris "Peeda Pan" Abdul Wahid.
The Chicago Sun Times reports that Keef pleaded with Judge Carl Anthony Walker to not be sentenced to juvenile detention, breaking into tears.
In 2012, Keef conducted an interview at a gun range, which was determined to be a violation of his probation. He also failed to complete his GED program in time to meet a court order.
