You gotta wonder if Minnesota's pick is gonna be available. I don't think they are too high on Mayo or Bayless and #3 is probably too high to draft anyone they might be able to use. On the other hand, I think Bayless could be great for us. i wonder if we could put together a package to get #3 from them.

I'm sure Bayless can play pg just fine. He looks for his shot a lot because thats just Arizona's system. They love their pg to be a big offensive threat. He has good handles and good court vision so he could look to set up the offense and if nothin was there he can also create his own shot. I dont like Roy at the pg, and Bayless might not be a prototypical pg but he could at least handle the job of bringing the ball up the court then set up the offense or dump it to Roy to set up the offense.

that would be good stuff. depending on what we would give up for bayless, but i have full faith in KP to get it done and make the blazers better. but as far as the bulls getting number one pick? i dont think it really does matter, cause if they take rose then they have to do something with all the other guards they have. if they take beasley then they have noah, deng, beasley....no real big man, they can play at the same time, but still bulls are going to suck. and czar...dont talk shit about oden....because he will be better than both beasley and rose

Never mind the fact that his knee is now stronger than before the injury. And never mind that his injury was way less severe than Amare's (who had micro done on BOTH knees) and came back stronger than ever. You know damn well if there was a chance in hell Portland would offer him you'd bite. So would every GM in the league who doesn't already have a premier center. LOL I know you're excited from winning the lottery with almost no chance, but try to keep your head in reality a little bit.

Head in reality???

LOL!

Oden has plenty of POTENTIAL...but hasn't proved ANYTHING yet.

That is reality.

It'll be very interesting to see how he comes back. There is NO guarantee.
You wanna know what else is reality? Oden has played in an NCAA title game and Rose and Beasley haven't. Oden has proven more than either Rose or Beasley at this point if you wanna play that game.

i almost forgot all those all star appearances and playoff berths rose and beasley got... damn i guess i got ahead of myself....

all three have tremendous potential... but it feels good to have the best POTENTIAL player in the 2008/09 rookie class with out even having to draft him... just sit back and wait for him to hit the court....

as well as rudy fernandez, and whoever 13 can get us

Rose hasn't? Really?

And what has Oden proven that Rose hasn't?
LOL forgot about that, my fault. Anyway, since he lost, you can say he has proven just as much (or little) as Oden, and Beasley has proven even less. BUT there is not a team on the planet who would take Rose over Oden if Oden was part of this draft class (injury or no injury) that doesn't have Dwight Howard or Yao.

That's a matter of opinion, but that's also besides the point.

You were speaking about ''reality'' when it comes to Greg Oden...I simply stated that he hasn't proven shit, same as Rose, Beasley, or anyone else in this class.

I can't call Oden a bust (yet), but he has yet to show anything. I wouldn't wish something like that on him...but his job got harder with the injury, regardless of how ''small'' it was. Mentally...that can affect a player.

Nothing wrong with saying that Oden hasn't proven anything as long as you put Rose and Beasley in that same category. That said, Oden would go first in this draft ahead of both of them. Your GM knows this too.
