It looks like it has some classic spike lee elements to it, Some fine women, some comedy, and Dave chapelle cameo. It looks a little bit like "she hate me". Which I'm pretty sure was the last movie spike lee wrote and directed (not counting red hook summer piece of shit.)

Almost felt like i was watching a Quentin Tarantino trailer. A lot of scenes reminded me of School Daze. Looks interesting but yea Nick Cannon...aint feelin that, but ive like 99% of the actors Spike has cast in previous movies besides Ray Allen in He Got Game...terrible acting imo

While that least it makes sense, it still a dumb ass premise for this type of movie. This should be a bio pic, not a "hey, maybe we can make it Shakespearean!" pic.

Spike lee joints are always very new yorkcentric, he's out of line doing a movie called chiraq to be honest. He's lost touch with young people you might say, but there's no new film makers taking his spot so...

That being said ill still be seeing this in theaters most likely. I'm just not expecting much.

This fuckin' movie.

I just watched and...It was pretty damn awful. I wish I had something good to say about it. There are some drop dead gorgeous women in this movie---but dammit they need work before they get cast again.

Angela Bassett-Yup she's a VET, knows what she's doing. The rest of them NEED work.

But maybe this was a good movie to fuck up in, because it was seriously doomed from the start and I don't think anything could save it. Spike Lee should hang it up. Maybe Do one more movie with some quality actors about something he actually knows about and go out on a good note. You don't want to end a film career on this movie. Or just stick to directing, he cannot write another film.
