Anyone here play chess? Ive been playing a game thru the mail (real mail, not electronic)) its fun cause during the day i can stand there and make sratagies. But you dont have to do that, i mean chess in general. Even if its just on your computer.

I don't even know how to play. I wish I did though. I know what the pieces can and cannot do. But as far as stratagey and playing well, im not good at all, being that I have only played 4 or 5 times.

Chess is tight. I used to not want to learn it but once I did I couldn't stop thinking about killing people three spaces in front of me and one to the left (or right) with a horse.

Chess is nice but it's hard to play well. I was never happy with my level. And when I mean play well, I don't mean knowing how to move a knight, I mean elaborating strategies and be able to see an attack from the opponent. You a good player if you can predict your opponent's next 3-4 moves.

Yeah its impossible to find people except for online unless your in a club. I did the email thing, all you need to know is how to write the moves. Each square has a designation and all the peices are abbreviated. You just mention what square your peice moves to, an 'x' is a capture etc... its confusing until you go thru it.

If you have to go thru it all and describe it for them as long as it works for you. Ill have to check that link out too.
