Why not go free? One thing I always do when I need a serial for XP is at work on new PC's they always install win2k but leave the serial number label on the machine itself..

So like what I download it from some possibly hacker ass site, fuck with the scripting, fuck with the iso shit, burn the CDs, hope it all works, find a serial, when I'm prompted for my windows XP cd to install windows components after my OS is installed it doesn't work, etc.

I'd really rather just buy a copy. I mean i'm out here tryin to save maybe 20 bucks, 50 max...its not a big deal. Just wondered if anyone knew. Thanks for the tip though.

Smart 20. No Microsoft OS is worth a steaming fuck for at least 2 years after its release.

In addition, Vista is the Trojan Horse (No pun intended) for trying to make everyone pay for downloaded media and copy protecting every song or movie on our computers.

That's way to complicated. Download a copy from a torrent site, burn the iso to a disc, install as normal and compute away. I've never gone through so much trouble.
