naw...they have to digitize the vector...it tells the needle where to poke and how much the thread count is...

and vector magic costs now...:ermm:

When I did my friends Karate patch we just sent it to the embroidery shop in a flattened file and they did it. Not sure what other digitizing it needs.

my potna just got a embroidery machine but he said the vector needs to be digitized...and he hasnt learned how to do it...and im looking to just see how a few shirts come out...

You can't do embroidery unless the Image is originally a Vector. e.g A picture of you off your digital camera won't work, because its a pixel based detail; way too advanced for our currently embroidery machines to handle.

However, if you trace the image with the pen tool in Photoshop or Illustrator; that counts as a vector.
