so i've stopped drinking, i haven't eaten out for a minute, been doing heavy cardio exercises daily, and been fucking with small free weights along with those fitness spots they got at parks.

all while being damn near broke.

thought this could be a beneficial thread for most of us so here it goes:

so far i got-
beans (negro or pinto)
bananas
yogurt
russet/sweet potatos
canned tuna
100% whole wheat bread
carrots
eggs
canned crab meat
cliff/power bars if they on sale

any healthy cheap cereal suggestions? cheerios?

chicken breast or turkey lunch meats. Make sure its a good brand and there isnt a lot of sodium and preservatives. good protein for fairly cheap and you can make some awesome sammiches with the whole wheat bread.

PB is cool... but if you wanna eat healthy make sure you get natural pb... I think it's a little more expensive than regular PB... but def healthier

but yeah... most of the shit you said... also frozen chicken breast and brown rice... which was mentioned already

pretty much all veggies are good for you... and usually pretty cheap

another one is oatmeal... just get the regular oatmeal that comes in a can... not the little flavored packets and shit

Its a little more pricey than reg. peanut butter but it has flaxseed oil that gives it an omega 3 boost. Plus its has more protein than reg. peanut butter.

The texture is different but its still good. I throw a spoonful of it in my oatmeal every now and then to change up the taste.
omegas 3's FTW!

yeah I put some natural PB in my oatmeal the other morning actually... it was pretty good

ALL OF THOSE ARE PRETTY GOOD... BUT IF U BUY FROZEN CHICKEN GET SOME GOOD QUALITY KIND. ALOT OF SHIT HAS ALOT OF FAT ON IT AND IS JUST BAD QUALITY, DONT BUY FROM GROCERY OUTLET ANYWHERE LIKE THAT.

AND JUST SWITCHING TO WHEAT BREAD CAN HAVE A GOOD IMPACT. ALSO USE MIRACLE WHIP NOT MAYO. ONE OF MY FAV SAMMICHES IS PEANUT BUTTER AND BANNANA ON WHEAT WITH A LITTLE BIT OF HONEY.

cheap and healthy dont seem to match up too often

Oatmeal is the cheapest thing and keeps your full for a bit.
Water to drink.
brown rice if you dont mind.
whole wheat bread too.

alot of people have good ideas here.

if you gonna be more healthy, protein is a must. So your chicken and fish good to go.
