Breakthrough Freestyle Hip-Hop Star Chamillionaire
"Turns It Up" At Radio

Debut CD "The Sound Of Revenge" In-Stores October 25th

New York, NY - Universal Recording artist, Houston-based rapper Chamillionaire continues to break-out of the South. The talented artist has already garnered more than 7 million in listening audience with his new single "Turn It Up." The radio friendly song featuring Lil' Flip first caught fire in the hip-hop star's native southwest cradle of the Houston/Dallas market, and is rapidly becoming a nationwide phenomenon. "Turn It Up" is receiving #1 phone requests on Rhythm Crossover Radio stations in cities such as Memphis, Birmingham, and Orlando, among others.

As a testament to Chamillionaire's national appeal, the Village Voice recently named the rapper: "one of the five or six greatest rappers on planet earth." Additionally, BET added the "Turn It Up" video into medium rotation and it is being serviced to other national video outlets shortly.

The heated response for "Turn It Up, confirms Chamillionaire's status as one of the breakthrough artists of 2005.

The freestyle prince was relentlessly pursued by major labels ever since his celebrated debut on the Texas indie scene a few years ago. The talented rapper appeared on several compilations, (and is rumored to have sold more than 250,000 mix tapes on his own) and released two acclaimed solo albums, Get Ya Mind Correct (2002) with Paul Wall, and Mixtape Messiah (2004), before signing to Universal. Crafting the much anticipated The Sound of Revenge with a diverse slate of in-demand producers and artists such as, Swizz Beatz, Scott Storch (50 Cent), David Banner, Mannie Fresh , Lil Flip, The Beat Bullies (Big Boi/Outkast), and others. Chamillionaire has already embarked on a successful radio promotion tour, and is playing selected dates on The BET 2005 Black College Tour, which runs through 14 historic black colleges and universities, including Grambling, La. on October 4, and a stop in Chamillionaire's native Houston on November 4 at Texas South University.

Chamillionaire's national debut CD will be in stores October 25th.
