Why is it so difficult to find a decent CD storage rack that isnt ugly?
Rasputins in the bay have some real clean, sturdy, functionable racks that come in all different sizes made by "Stumasa"...i have 2 160 capacity shelves, but it isnt enough.

I moved to southern california last week, so im tryin to find something equal to Stumasa racks out here, but its difficult.

Anyone know of any stores that carry cd racks? I already tried best buy and target and they had garbage.

I wish i was in the bay so i could go snatch up some stumasa shit.

Heres a pic of the 2 i have, im tryin to find something like this but bigger.
Thanks

I'm even more demanding. I want each cd to have its own horizontal shelf. You know, so I can take any cd I want without having them on the stack and lifting tons of others up. What is more, I don't want to store them vertically (on the side), because I think they feel uncomfortable then haha,

yup i know the feeling. i looked everywhere nothing. bunch of trash, so i said fuck it built my own. i just bought that lot from ogms and that put me over like 3000 cds. i had no place to put them, so i custom built my own storage. i put them in my closet actually turned out real nice. i got them at the very top of the closet and a huge one going in in the middle. ill post some pics when i get it all. pretty simple design took me maybe two hours to finsih and cost me like 35 bucks, much better than upwards 150 that site were charging for crap

I'll have to build my own because Norwegians don't give a fuck about CDs no more. It's all about ipods and downloading. It's even hard to find decent CD stores here anymore.

The last 5 years even IKEA has stopped producing storage racks that keep more than 180 CDs (that benno tower). Importing larger racks from the US or any other country is out of the question because Norwegian import tax will equal to what a developing country spend a year in health care.
