Cave Story

Been playing this game lately, it's sort of an homage to games like Metroid and Castlevania. It's freeware on the PC and they ported it to DSi and Wiiware. Some Japanese guy made this in his spare time over the course of 5 years. It's pretty fun and controls well, thought some of you here might want to try it out.

good shit.. i DL'd it & played it for a little while, shits pretty fun. wish they would add this to PSN, but its looking like nintendo may have already swooped it up. or is it a free DL on wii & dsi?

They charge for the wii and ds version but they enhanced the graphics on that. It's also coming to the 3DS with 3D polygon graphics.



Since it's gaining in popularity you might see it on Live Arcade and PSN eventually.

thats strange.. cuz i've gotten super duper hyphy-hyphy several times to this soundtrack, & never once committed suicide. to each his own, i guess.

Yeah I usually play music in the background while playing, there are no volume or sound controls at all lol.

They recently released Cave Story + which seems to be like the Wii version, updated graphics and new area on Steam. Here goes the cracked link, enjoy.
