When I carry cash I always know how much I have on me - when I use a debit card I tend to get a little wild. I end up looking up my account online in total disbelief.

debit... simply because I don't always go to the atm to pull out cash

The only time I pull out cash is when I know I'm gonna need it... before I go out... cause I hate using my debit card at the bar... or when I get my haircut or go somewhere that doesnt take cards

if I do happen to have cash on my I'll use it most of the time though

cash = debit card

if you dont have money you cant make a purchase

if you have 3.47 in your savings and go to get gas with your card, you will get 3.47 in gas

if i go into the bank and deposit 200.00 into my debit , walk out, walk back in and ask for 200 dollars, its the same as me buying something thats 197.30 on my debit, except i didnt go to the atm physically and get subcharged.

i dont think debit cards effect your credit..they might, but i doubt that

i only use my card for gas and online purchases, outside of that i use cash and i go to my bank so i dont get subcharged and probably save a good 100.00 annually by doing so

Charging a credit card in full and paying it in full does not build credit the same as carrying a small balance. Read up.

By using debit cards you save all that change that would end up in your couch. It adds up.

If you use cash you are losing money.

I understand why most of you would use cash for small purchases though to an extent. In California they charge a fee every time you use plastic. Which adds up.

Here in AZ I can by a 35 cent pack of gum and pay with plastic and there is no fee.

Also gas here is the same price whether it be cash or credit. That is not the case in most other places.

I say plastic all the way. I don't like saving my pocket change and having to take it to a coinstar machine to cash it in and get charged 10%. Just leave it in the bank and use it.

i dont know about you, but all the coins in my car go to paying for blunts

i payed my share of the drinking water bill at work (yes the air force makes us pay for whatever we want) with the quarters in my car. cant really give them my checking card..

so, i prolly would have had to pull out a twenty, buy something to break my 20, and dibby out 4 bucks instead of using my change.

same shit diff toilet
