Sup siccness.

My homie wrapped his car last weekend. Was taken right to jail on 2 Felony DUI charges. 1 for the DUI and 1 for the DUI with injury. Bail was $150k. He sat in jail 5 days, then on his court date he was told the DA rejected the case and they released him. They have a year to file, if they do....

Anyone experience anything like this?

tell him to count his blessings and to avoid any motor vehicle issues (tickets, etc.) and he's most likely in the clear.

and to set money aside for the lawyer, i gaurentee they will charge.

Actually im not so sure, he went in on felonies because they thought someone was injured, but there turned out to be nobody injured. Just one person was check out by the paramedics as a precationary thing and released with no injury right after they cop car pulled away with him inside.

so you were the "victim"? then he'd be in the clear of being sued, unless you have insurance and the insurance company decides to pursue legal action, but he will likely still lose his license, they probably took it anyways when they put him in. he might still get a misdemeanor dui, tell him to stack his chips just in case.

Yep the D.A. will file a charge. Tell him to save money and get a lawyer. One of my buddies thought he was in the clear on some they wont file shit. 2 months later he was in court negative 4000$ in lawyer fees. They are just hella busy right now..ha...THEY WILL BE BACK
