Ok, so what the fuck is wrong with people? I can justify eating humans strictly for survival, but eating the placenta for fun?

If I had to choose I'd eat a rib or or a piece of leg, but not the fucking plecenta.

HERE is a video of people cooking and eating placenta. For what reasons you might ask? Because they're idiots, that's why.

If I'm not mistaken cannibalism is illegal in the US (I believe Dahmer was actually charged with cannibalism). Wouldn't this practice be considered the same?

Strange - I don't know much about why people would eat human placenta, but I myself found it kinda strange that my mother and her friends would buy sheeps placenta to rub on their faces as a form of moisturiser. Why would someone, knowing exactly what it is, rub it on their face just to make themselves 'look better'? Crazy. Who knows, eating the placenta may not be a spiritual thing - it may also be related to some vain aspect of their physical apperance. Yuk.

I remember I was on a local chat line talking to some bitch on the phone and she was talking about that she gets urges to bite human flesh and that she bites herself inside the cheeks lol. I dunno but this bitch sounded serious she was saying that shit is like a disease or some shit. I was like hella asking questions then clicked to the next bitch lol shit was a trip.

I was watching survivorman on discovery(or a show like it) yesterday and these people were in a life raft after there yacht sank...two guys ended up drinking the salt water of the sea after a few days of thist,and one jumped in the water infested with sharks and got ate up,and a few minuts later the other jumped in as well and got ate..one girl had a slashed leg,when the yacht sank and after a few days infection set in and she died.....the last two remaining thought of eating the flesh....but decided to throw her overboard.....I was imagining on a rubber life raft with no tools,how would they go about it.because it isnt like they are on dry land and could possibly put some flesh on sticks and barbeque the meat....Its easy for us to sit back and say I would never,but in an extreme circumstance..and survival depended on it,it would be a tough choice.

I've heard of that.

Supposedly, it also gives back a lot of nutrition to the mother. That's what the placenta is basically made of, I believe. Yes, it is technically human flesh. Like eating a human liver, or someone's kidney. But the placenta isn't a necessary organ and would end up a wasted source of energy anyway.

I guess it's kind of gross to think about. Well, yea.. It is gross. But to me it's even more gross that the parents would not be the ones to eat it. I have more of a problem with a stranger purchasing it and eating it. However, I don't see it as a bodily organ but as a growth or "product". The person from which is came does not require it. Which still makes it disgusting, and human flesh, but it's on a different level somehow.

I can't watch the video. I can't see gore or nastiness right before I hit the hay or I get fucked up dreams.
