Canada/Japan PS2 games

Will the USA PS2 play a game released from Canada? Or any other country for that matter. The reason I'm asking there is a game on ebay with a different cover than I have seen over here.

Canadian games will play on an American PS2

only difference is usually the artwork and manual have a french translation in addition to the english ones.

PAL (UK) and NTSC-J (JAPAN) games won't work on a American PS2 without some sort of modification.

yea i've played it. to be fair im not a KOF fan at all. it's just a rehash of some older titles.

if you're into KOF i would suggest getting swap magic and going the Ultimate Match route.

Just backtracking a bit because the games are so damn cheap! I still play X-Box & Gamecube.I have a PS3 but sometimes I like to go old school.
