okay i can upload music to my site when i edit my site but i can only upload .wav and .midi and those are big ass files.midi isnt but i dont have anything like that but .wav is long ass fuck.......

anybody know how to upload mp3s to my site? can i use a different site and get the html for the songs on that site and take the htmls and put em on my site...........

Anybody got clues on how to do it.............thanxz for the help homies..........

see i also ask this cause this fool i know has the same site running as i do (geocities) and he has mp3s on there and hes getting it free.........thats why im wonderin about that..........

Most of the time sites will shut you down for puttin up mp3 shit. I been through it all man. If you do not have DSL or faster it really sucks. All the free online hosting sites folded under. It is hard to find a good place to host but one thing is for sure. Do not host mp3 files on your web site host. I host my audio files on my own FTP server. Other than that if i didnot have my ftp i most likley would not host audio. Just way to hard to keep shit uploaded without someone shuttin it down. by the way I host REAL AUDIO and not MP3 for that reason.

well now i can get the mp3 on there but when i link it, it tells me that its unavailable......i already have it uploaded and everything........anybody know whats up.......

need a little more info than that. What web host you using and what link you trying to use to link the mp3 file.

im using geocities and the way im trying to link it is, i have the name of hte track, click on the name of the track on my page builder, then i go to link, then im not sure what i go to but i go to my pages or whatever in the link status and it has my mp3...........i link it to the name of the song and i save it.........then i close the page builder and go to the site to see if it worked.........i click on it and it tells me the file is unavailable........how is that if i uploaded it to my file and it was successful in the upload..........u got a clue on what else i gotta do........

why dont you have your music on mp3.com and then have your link go to there?

cause the beats i use arent mine and i dont know if i will get in trouble if i post original rappers beats..........i rap to like snoop dogg instrumentals, lowprofile instrumentals...... but i dont want to get into some trouble for it...........
