I've been having a good amount of conversations with folks about how they can or can't relate to certain rapppers or rap styles.. and I found that a lot of Non-Latin cats cant always feel a significant amount of Latin rappers cuz they bust in Spanish on occasion, and also a good amount of the times have CD titles that seem to exclude non Latin folks...

N E 1 ever felt like that or heard folks sayin that?

Just tryn to get a convo started!

**I think a lot of talent its gettin slept on cuz ppl feel like they are gettin the cold shoulder cuz they arent Latin**

It kinda weird to me when someone talks in a language and i Have no idea what the fuck they are saying at all. I mean it would kinda turn me away if they spoke 2 much in a unfamilar language.

I dont think anything can be to ethnic, but I know what you mean when you listen to some shit and cant understand the words or anything. There are some songs I've heard though where the words didnt matter cuz the beat was tight. I'm mexican and I can understand most of the shit that mexican rappers are saying. alot of the time they use english and spanish.

I agree. I like regge but I'll admit, I don't always know what they're saying. Most regge artists can make "atookahugdumponyourgirlfriendschestlastnightBOOYAKABOOYAKA" and make it sound tight though.

Ill admit it, I dont bump anything I cant understand. But if you ask me, its not just whites and blacks feeling latin music, its latins trying to appeal to their latin fans. If you look at some latin CD covers, you see they dress different, they talk different, they speak a different language.

That's cool though for the latin folks. Groups like Darkroom and Pistoleros and other groups that I really dont like are keepin it real for their real fans and their hood.
