ESTACADA, Ore. -- Authorities say a group camping near Bagby Hot Springs last weekend discovered a Peeping Tom near an area where women were using an open latrine.
A male camper who investigated a noise chased and then tackled the alleged Peeping Tom and two other men helped tie him to a tree until deputies arrived.
Before sheriff's deputies responded to arrest Richard Berkey, 63, the campers said he admitted that engaged in similar activities for the past 15 years.
According to deputies, it wasn't the first time the campers found Berkey spying on them. They said Berkey was spotted in the same camping area by the same group one year ago.
Berkey of Beaverton, Ore., was cited and released on a public indecency charge.
