the people who play Halo online are the reason i dont play that game anymore, i cant fucking stand it. COD4 is almost like that, but the game is so fucking sick and im pretty good at it that i try not to give a shit. Tons of idiots still on there though.

Halo is mos def a kids game compared to Call of Duty... You're shooting colored balls at aliens with tie-dye blood.

I don't really care either way but you can't tell me that Halo is a "mans" game compared to COD.

i would bet money that the average age of cod gamers is about 6-10 years above that of halo and killzone ones

i found a thread on the bungie website that asked what the average age of halo players were and looks like the average would be somewhere at like 17...thats pretty damn young considering the average for video games in general is 33. all the people that posted were in the age range of 12-22. with only a handful over that age

i dont think it has anything to do with the skill it takes. more mature people arent going to drawn to lazer guns and aliens, they look for a more realistic experience.

socom takes more skill than most shooters and i bet the average of that game is higher than all 3 we are discussing because it is also the most realistic

lol @ people thinking that beacuse a game is more realistic than other titles older people will like it. It seems like everyone thinks theyre a marine now because they play call of duty.

so you are saying the same amount kids play super smash bros and mario kart as they do fight night and gran turismo? haha...if you think that you are even more ignorant than i thought you were.

of course there is a relation to older gamers playing games that are more geared towards mature audiences, how can you even begin to deny that?

thats like you watching disney channel and saying more mature watch it than discovery channel...it makes ZERO sense

with comments like that i assume you are in that 12-22 range
im guessin no higher then 13 dude has a man crush on kobe. Killzone 2 takes no skill for the most part just launch rockets every where and throw a spawn grenade into the place where you gotta plant the bomb and rack up a shitload of kills. I like killzone tho its fun

That's because people over 17 or so are the only people go to official websites and take polls. How many 33 year olds are going to COD forums and answering polls? I post on the sicc about video games but I think in the history of me having the internet, I've posted at a video game forum twice.

COD4= lil girls

HALO3 KZ2= seasoned vets in gaming
Why? Because Halo came out when you were 12? I played the first Halo when I was about 15-16 and haven't played another one since. It was like playing Goldeneye with the paintball cheat on.
