A little off subject, but here go a little trivia for you guy's.

I have a cousin who works on motion pictures (Sony Pictures etc. Cat in the Hat, Liar Liar & all the Spider-Man movies to name a few.)

In the mid 90's he worked on the film, "Bugsy" staring Warren Beatty. Incase you haven't seen it, Warren Beatty plays Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel. The mobster responsible for starting Las Vegas.

Anyhow, they built a replica "Flamingo Casino" out in the back roads of El Centro, CA. posing as if it's out in Nevada. The casino was built as it looked when they first built it, not as it looks today.

My cousin told me that as they were prepping things for next day's shoot, when a car pulled up on the side of the road & just stayed there. So my cousin went over and asked what they needed. It was an old couple & the old man asked my cousin, "Are we in Nevada? Because I wasn't intending to come out this far. I thought we were in California."

LOL! My cousin proceeded to tell them that there was a movie being filmed there about Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel / Las Vegas.

The old man then told my cousin that he & his wife had gotten married in the Flamingo back in the day & it looked exactly (to a T) like the one that was built for the movie.

Just thought I'd share that cool story with the Siccness on Christmas Eve :)

@GAS I used to live like 2 blocks from the spot but didnt play cards that much back then. Now thats all I play at the casino. In retrospect thats prolly a good thing cuz I woulda been over to much. They also had a sports bar in the back and we would go in there every week to watch the Raider and Niner games.

You can have casinos on indian reservations, some places have card rooms, from what i was told, the basic thing about card houses is your playing with your own/others money...Like you dont have slots, or traditional blackjack, but youll have poker games, or modified blackjack games...Theres a few cardhouse here in Antioch, Ive never bothered going.

That's why I say fuck half-assed Indian casino's and go to Reno. Drinks are free while you lose all your money but atleast you get fucked up. Shit by the time you can even get a drink "that you have to pay for" in thunder valley you're broke. I have went to Reno with 300 bucks and had a blast all weekend room included. When I went to Thunder Valley that is like 15 min from me I lost that same amount in less than 2 hours. No craps and no free drinks means I will never go there again. Nevada gambling FTW Period.
