I'd vote for Arnold for a couple of reasons.

One is that the children now will be the ones runnin for office in the future, and how many of your folks do you know that are interesred in politics? I'd have to say zero in my age range of late teens early twenties. Shit, I don't even like politics but I'd definitely watch Arnold speak, jus cuz he Arnold, and if by doing that it taught me some stuff about politics, then it would definitely be more than I know now. Our generation is lazy and we don't like to do shit if it ain't interesting. It's a good way to get the younger generations attention. I mean damn, c'mon now if Arnold won you'd be thinkin your chances are pretty good for runnin for office.

Two Arnold is the perfect example of the American dream, he came here with nothin and made it into a couple million dollars worth of somethin. So at least you know he's responsible with his investments and his money. And also by dealing with the shady movie types and with the censorship of making movies you know he's got mouth piece to survive in a game where everybody's out to get your job or compete with the message your trying to get everybody to see and listen too. Cuz all movies and music are are politics already. Feel me?

I know in all his movie's he plays a good guy and usually they cast you depending on if how you carry yourself is most like the role your trying to play. Cuz that's the only believable character if when your playing a part your lookin at how you would feel in the situation your character is in, and you draw your emmotions from that. Saving kids, saving the oppressed, saving the world, protecting people, not taking anyshit, and not being a pussy. All Arnold roles. Sounds good to me. I think he'll do good.

Oh yeah in case yall didn't know how politics really be workin, the only reason Gary Coleman is in the race is to take out Arnold's credibility. Gary was probably asked to run and is funded by opponents to Arnold. His opponents don't want you to take Arnold seriously, so what do they do? They get Gary Coleman, an actor, who usually plays non serious roles and is the but of alot of jokes, to run against him. It's a form of political slander. No disrespect to Gary Coleman, he was already fucked by the industry and is probably getting what he is owed by other assholes trying yet again to use him. Gary don't give a shit he's jus playin the fools who are tryin to play him. And in the end he'll be the one laughin at the people laughin at him in his new lexus.

I definetely feel you on this thread bro! Cali needs a new kind of governor, and we all know how professional politicians run shit! In my opinion, there is no such thing as a legit professional politician since basically they are taught in the ways of beating your opponent at the expense of your government. I have met better politicians than others but never a completely legit politician.

Arnold however does not have to lift a finger. He is pretty much set for life and does not have to do anything yet he is constantly active making movies and doing various fundraisers and such so it is pretty obvious that he gives a shit (not saying that the other guy does but he has a shitload of cash and still gives a shit). Arnold has a lot of good plans for the government of California and has numerous business and sucess credits. Plus he is plenty wealthy in the first place so what point would it make for him to be a shady politician if he has a vast resource of cash to begin with. Imagine if he applied his formula for succes towards the government of California, the state budget problems would be solved.

I see that too what the opposers plan to do with Coleman. Same with the proprietor of Hustler, Larry Flynt.

I mean if he only had his movie superstar status to back him up, he would not be a successfull candidate to those citizens who are slightly smarter than the rest of the mass.

I see your point in that movies and music is all really a form of politics to begin with. It's sad but true, gimmicks and sex sells instead of the true art form. In general, what the american public does not know is what makes them the american public. Most people buy shit for stupid reasons since the general public does not really have the time to think before making a quick desicion most of the time.

^^^ Mclintock looks legit alright, but what makes Arnold appealing in political terms (in my opinion) is the fact that he is already loads of cash which means he can't be bribed or won't take advantage of taxmoney. Not to mention responsible for various community services and successful business and investment plans! Imagine what he can do if he implemented his plans to the state government.

I think him and Mclintock would display a close and tough race.

This would be my first time voting.
As a fan of Ahnold, I was quick to register to show my support.
I don't care what he brings to the table, politicians don't mean shit to me. I planned on voting for him because he's one of my favorite actors....

That was until I found out that Ahnold voted yes on prop. 187 back when racist ass Pete Wilson was runnin for governer. He didn't stop there, he actually donated money to the bastard's campaign. Not only that but Ahnold is pro choice, something I will never ever support. And on top of that, Ahnold supports gay family adoption.
Nah ah! Not gonna do it for me....

I think Ariana Huffington will get my vote....
That could change with Cruz Bustamante, but right now my vote goes to Ariana.....

Gov. Candidate Arianna Huffington Paid Almost No Income Tax

Political gadfly-turned-California gubernatorial candidate Arianna Huffington launched her campaign by complaining about corporate fat cats who don't pay enough taxes - even though she herself paid almost no income tax at all for the last two years.

Tax records released to the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday show that the wealthy socialite paid no California state income taxes for 2001 and 2002 - and ponied-up a paltry $771 in federal income taxes for the same two-year period.

Despite her meager contribution to the federal budget, the Zsa Zsa Gabor sound-alike lives in an 8,000-square-foot home in Brentwood above Sunset Boulevard that is valued at about $7 million, the Times said, adding, "she socializes with many wealthy and prominent people."

In announcing her candidacy last week, Huffington complained that California's whopping $38 billion budget deficit had been caused in part by "corporate fat cats [who] get away with not paying their fair share of taxes."

Huffington's tax returns show that her income in the last two years was offset by losses she reported for Christabella Inc., the corporation she established to manage her writing and lecturing business.

In an interview Wednesday, Huffington told the Times that there was no inconsistency between her complaints about undertaxed corporation executives and her own meager tax payments. Instead she insisted that her tax deductions had been "very conservative" and didn't rely on "loopholes."

Tax experts quoted by the Times, however, painted a different picture.

"The average guy isn't able to wipe out the taxes on his wage income because he doesn't have millions of dollars in losses" from a private corporation, said Phil Holthouse, a partner in a Los Angeles certified public accounting firm.

Huffington's ex-husband, multimillionaire Michael Huffington, told the Times that the gubernatorial candidate benefited from additional income not reflected on her tax return in the form of child support he pays.

While he declined to specify the exact sum, Mr. Huffington said it was "very substantially above" the $183,000 that Christabella Inc. reported as its gross receipts in 2002.

"It's clear to me that much of her tax-free child support is going toward her business," he told the Times. "A lot of businesses would like to have tax-free income."

AND ABOUT BUSTAMANTE

FIRST HE SAID THAT HE DEFINATELY WAS NOT RUNNING AT ALL, THEN HE CHANGED HIS MIND.

NOW HE SAIS THAT THE RECALL IS WRON GAND THAT HE SUPPORTS GREY DAVIS BUT THEN HE SAID HE IS ALSO RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR IN THE RECALL AND HIS SLOGAN IS:

"VOTE NO ON THE RECALL, VOTE YES ON BUSTAMANTE"

^^^ HOW IN THE FUCK DOES THAT MAKE SENSE????

WONT ARGUE WITH THAT BECAUSE IT IS PROBLY TRUE.

That's bullshit!
Muthafuckas act like illegal aliens don't pay their taxes.
They pay them as much as anyone else does, but Politicians seem to sleep on that.

Besides, this was at a time when Bush was tryin to ban the Spanish language. Fuckin racists with their agendas....
This was just the start of a war against Mexicans.
Fuck'em!

I'm dead serious man.
She's like the most intelligent woman I have ever seen.
She bitch slaps the right wing cats every time on the Bill Maher show. She really makes them look stupid.
Plus her ideals are almost identical to mine....

I understand, she's an enemy of the right wing stiff asses.
That's why my vote will probably go to her.
The only one worthy of it....
