Cable-Hanson decision coming today
By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Thursday, October 22nd, 2009 at 10:41 am in Oakland Raiders.

Napa County District Attorney Gary Lieberstein said on his media hotline today his office will issue a press release announcing their filing decision with regard to the case involving Raiders coach Tom Cable between 2 and 3 p.m.

Media members were asked to send an e-mail address to receive the release. There was no indication whether or not Cable would be charged in the alleged attack on assistant coach Randy Hanson.
i think cable was provoked by hansen, felt threatened, and pushed him in self defense. atleast that would be my defense.

being it is taking the DA so long to file charges means two things: either he is a raider fan or has no case because of coaches supporting the self defense argument.

the raiders/cable will be liable in civil court.

ok, good shit

now he can focus 100% on coaching the team, and not worry about this bullshit

of course he's been saying that he's focused on the team, and hasn't been concerned about the case... but you have to assume that it's at least somewhat of a distraction

I'm glad this shit is out of the way

I haven't heard it...but my friend said he was listening on the radio and that the DA said he tripped and hit him.

haha...now...I don't know what really happened...but that is the lamest excuse I've heard in some time haha.

The DA would only do this to get his name in the papers.

Al Davis would of pulled the Raiders out of Napa real quick if they filed charges.
