I bumped this a lil while ago and it's much better than I thought. C-BO keeps it real gangsta and the beats are cool. I initially thought the beats didn't do BO's lyrics justice but my opinion has changed. BO has some bangers on here too!!! Holla with how yall feel.

I was feeling the beats a lot more than most people were, and I thought he had a good amount of tight songs. I do think that his rapping style used to be better though, and that I wished he would revert to the "Enemy Of The State" style of almost-yelling, and with a cool pitched voice... now hes got a really low voice and it just doesnt connect with me as well. But i still thought the CD was pretty good.

Yup. The production threw me for a loop the first couple of times I heard it, but yeah, THE MOBBFATHER's really a damn dope CD once you get used to it. There's still maybe a couple of songs I don't feel, but the majority of the album slaps way harder than most of the bullshit rap records that the mainstream fans think are so cool. Yukmouth, 151, Phats Bossi, Gotti and Eastwood put in some good appearances as well.
The sticker on the CD cover, shaped as a bullet, says "100% Gangsta" and for the most part, that's true. Bo can still put it down, no matter what style he uses.

PEACE!

maybe i havent soaked the album enough yet but i did sound weaker than his other ones. sounded like if it was too laid back and less gangsta which is unlikely of C-Bo. Maybe i gotta listen to it some more but right now i like enemy of the state and WCM better
