I don't like tha CD at all, it'z nothin' like tha Byrdie we all know from Poetic Epidemic. Almost every track has singin', tha album has a soft, for tha femalez feel to it. It'z coo if your in tha mood for that, but speakin' for myself I am very angry tha album turned out this way. I'm sorry, there are some cutz, but not enough. I'll still support Byrdie, but damn. My opinion.

Boo.

@D-Sane... it has the NEW COMMERCIAL sound the NW has been missing.. you dont like it... like i just said.. we all got our own opinion

@mo-x... i'll hit up aaron about consignments at tower records and we can see whats up

@everyone else... im not sure about internet sales... i will find that out later tonight.. and they wont be doing street sales, they want to have more store sales so they can tally up exactly how much was sold and other reasons..

Has anybody seen my backpack?

Actually I thought the song he did for Tone-Tone was awesome. I just don't think this album is goin' to do anything close to what they think it will. Byrdie is going to have to build a whole new fanbase because most of his old fans are not feelin' his "new" sound....POINT BLANK. This is not the Byrdie people came to love.....and he WILL lose fans over it. Masked Man 206 is only one of many who I keep hearing the same shit from.

But what do I know? I'm just a seasoned record company executive with an ear for talent......I'm definitely not in the league of an adolescent dick rider. :ermm:

Does it have a lot of Byrdie singing? Hopefully not, because in reality his singing is not that good. He had a couple tight choruses on SLR albums (most notably "LATELY"), but there were some where his singing SUCKED. They aren't going to sell them in the street? I personally think selling in the street is a good promotional tactic. If I saw Byrdie in the street slangin' his own album, I'd probably be more likely to buy it because I can see him out there hustlin' his music. This album doesn't really sound like something I'd be interested in. I'd much rather hear him spittin' over some grimy mobbin' beats, than some hip hop type shit with hella singing. The shit I heard on his site wasn't really my style......

Yeah....you're right. You're just doing your job.....(swinging like Tarzan lord of the testicles....lol)

Anywayz.....so what are you saying? Byrdie's first album was a "gangsta" album? Are you serious? That's one of the most rediculous things I've EVER seen you type. I think his first album was much more representitive of him as an artist and showed his versatility as a battle rapper and party rapper. Not to mention that I think Byrdie forgot where he came from.....but that just goes to show you the type of cat he is. He's a buttercup.

And I have a "fact" for you.....backpacker Hip-Hop is a small market. And if you were as smart as you THINK you are....you would know that. Who was the biggest artist of 2003 in Hip-Hop? 50 Cent. What kind of music does 50 Cent do? Duh.....................

What's really gonna throw you for a loop though is when I tell you that it's ALL HIP-HOP......there ain't no Hip-Hop over here and Gangsta Rap over there. It's all Hip-Hop......understand this.

Why do you always say dumb shit and stick your foot in your mouth? For real....I'm gettin' tired of takin' you to school youngster. You need to stop talkin' to them clowns that you talk to and get your moccasins laced up by somebody that knows what they're talkin' about.

I wish Byrdie the best. I haven't gotten a chance to check out the album, but I hope that it does well for him. It seems that he moving in the right direction in terms of the marketing, being that people are talking about the project atleast.

This album aint bad, its got some quality songs on it and filler tracks. Its just a new sound, takes some time to adjust to, its no poectic epidemic. Byrdie is talented though i think everyone can somewhat agree to that but he should of maybe did more diversity on the tracks. Being gone for so long and with a new sound he may have to rebuild his fan base.
