Businesses That Aren't Around Anymore

One business that you don't see around anymore is a baseball card shop. Another one that is quickly disappearing are music stores. Baseball cards and CDs were the two things I collected growing up, but now I have to buy almost all of my music online. I think that next business that we will see starting to disappear are sporting goods stores. Kids are just too fat and lazy and more into video games, Ipods, cell phones, and Myspace pages to have an interest in sports.

What are some other businesses that you remember growing up but don't see around anymore?

Coin-op arcades were the shit growing up. You can catch an arcade in the mall, but it usually takes tokens and the games are just crazy huge or just not interesting.

I used to murder Dragons Lair on a daily basis.

PIONEER CHICKEN! where the fuck that spot go?

blood there used to be one around the corner from me out here in west Oakland. Then some Asians bought it and turned it into an all star donuts and burgers. The just took the name off the big ass street light and put "all stars" on it but it still had the pioneer chicken shape. About 6 months ago they took the sign down and finally got a legit one for themselves after having the ghost of pioneer chicken in their sign for the past decade.
