burning dvds

have yall ever convert and burnt some dvds and they dont work in yo dvd player but they work in your x-box or 360.....i downloaded and converted the new star trek and burnt it but it didnt work in my dvd but it worked in my x-box360

I would suspect its your DVD player. What sort of DVD player is it?

how old is it? i burn my inlaws dvds all the time and that shit skips crazy and they try and say i got faulty movies, but their dvd player is one of the first ever made. lol i put the same movies in 4 different dvd players i got and all work just fine. so it could be old (or laser needs to be cleaned), im not sure tho. what kinda file is it?

maybe your dvd-player doesnt support + AND - DVDR (or RW oder whatever). could be alot of reasons tho.

sometimes after i burn something on dvd on my computer, the discs come out as fucked up. this always happens when i'm doing shit while burning the movies on my computer, like using the internet.

A lot of dvd players won't play the dvd-R. Try switching to the dvd+r if you haven't already.

they play in pretty much everything. Get you some good DVD's tho, like some SONY's, keep ones are sketchy bro, thats prolly why they aint playin.

just stream them from your computer to your 360 using tversity...thats what i do. no time to wait for them to burn and no cds...its nice.
