apparently u need to do some research guy. he created his own from of karate, i doubt many actors are doing that...i give it to bruce lee and day of the week, bruce is to quick.
Actually Bruce Lee made his Jeet Kune Do "style" mostly out of Chinese kungfu style called Wing Chun. Bruce Lee wasn't giving any props to Karate or any other hard Japanese styles. He knew his kungfu was superior, and in almost every Bruce Lee movie he was showing how much better Chinese kungfu was compared to any Japanese style.
But you're right. Bruce Lee definetly wasn't just an actor. He was the best martial artist alive and practically didn't do nothing but trained all day long. And that training and all those pain killer pills he toke was the thing that killed him at the end. He just trained too hard. He wanted to see just how far a human body can be taken.
An interesting thing is that Bruce Lee said that Muhammad Ali was the only fighter in the world he looked up to. That don't mean that Ali would been better fighter than Bruce Lee, but Lee knew that Ali had something that Lee could learn of. For example if you watch how Bruce Lee moves there's a lot of similarities whit Ali's moving.
