I know for me personally, I haven't checked out a BLH release since Dinner and a Movie - I knew right then and there it was over.

Really kind of felt that way on Lynch by Inch - but tried to give him the benefit of the doubt since it was his first album with Tech 9 - but no.

And thats OK!

Everything the dude dropped in the 90s or even touched is a pure classic - no questions asked. I even enjoyed some of the early 2000 stuff (EBK4, Now Eat, etc) - but Lynch by Inch dropped, and I knew it was the beginning of the end.

He should be given his credit for what he did in the 90s and his impact on Sac Rap - but honestly, hang it up.

that’s the same thing I was thinking. I thought it sounded like a 2009-2010 beat back when alotta rap had weak beats.....One thing I noticed is that rap is starting to have better beats in 2020-2021 compared to 5 or 10 years ago..... Lynch needs to go back to the bangin rip gut beats.
