I was reading an article about this shit earlier called "cryonics." This is when they freeze a person when they die, and then in 100 years or so (depending on the growth of technology) thaw the body out in hopes of perhaps bringing it back to life.

This conflicts dearly with what most people believe in. If there is a heaven and a God, then this "cryonics" shit is just impossible. What are you going to do, die and go to Heaven while your body is frozen and then when they find a way to bring you back to life you hop back on Earth again? I think not.

What are yalls takes on this shit? Do you think its possible?

There's noway they'd be able to preserve your soul in your body. I would guess that if they did find a way to restart the body, and bring it back to life, it would have a different soul (i.e., wouldn't remember things it had done before, wouldn't remember people it had known before, etc.).

Well, technically it is possible but on a smaller scale. Scientists have successfully frozen a fly for a significant amount of time (I don't remember specifics). They then "thawed" the fly and came bacc to what seemed normal. Though since it was ONLY a fly we really have no way of knowing how the fly felt before and after. They were intending to move on to bigger things like mice, not sure if that has happened yet though.

Yeah, but I remember that the fly came back with a dog's soul and began to dry hump the scientist's leg immediately after thawing. The fly had to be put down with a rolled up issue of SWANK. Poor lil feller.

IF YOU FROZE YOUR BODY TO BE BROUgHT BAK TO LIFE WHY WOULD YOU WANT AN OLD WRINKLED USED UP BODY? IF THAT WAS AT ALL POSSIBLE, YOU WOULD EVENTUALLY DIE AgAIN CAUSE THE BODY WOULD'NT BE ABLE TO LIVE CAUSE IT'S USED UP. THE CELLS WOULD STILL NOT REPRODUCE AS WHEN YOU WERE YOUNgER.

lol how the hell do u figure that we know how 2 preserve a body and we dont even know how to bring em back to life.. maybe the answer is to keep the body extremely hot lol n e 1 feel me???

sounds like when ppl thought the weather determined if germs were spread or not lol... gonna be some time b4 they even get somewhat close to making a good start.. when something dies its dead obviously because it starts to decay
