from everything ive read, he is truly italian. dont worry, he'll be back. not as hassan, but he will be back. taker "made" him at the GAB, the kids earned his stripes, this was just a fucked up predicament beyond their controll

Hussan the character won't be back... atleast not on Smackdown that's for sure. Though, I doubt the character will turn up on Raw either because if that was an option, they would have switched him over when shit went down instead of write him off.

Is dude even still signed to the WWE though? I though I read that he was released because he wants to persue acting?

Yeah, I don't think he is under WWE contract anymore, and he's italian.

he hasnt been under contract for along time, he was released a while after that whole terrorist angle took place with Undertaker. After that they couldnt show him on TV cause UPN complained, so his last appearance was on a PPV. I was always hoping they could just move him to Raw, but they ended up releasing him, supposedly he was difficult to work with (which was a big reason he was released too) and his true passion was acting, so he went off to pursue that.

actually he won't be back, he stepped on alot of toes when he was with wwe, alot of guys don't have respect for him because he said he was only using wrestling to advance his movie career.

Mainly because like already stated Mark wanted to actually persue acting rather then wrestling, plus he was hard to work with. On the other had, Daivari wasn't, so they had no problem keeping him around.
